I'm Married to Wonder Woman

It's true. I am married to a woman of wonder, a super human. I am constantly amazed by her strength, perseverance and diligence. And I always have been amazed.

Even when I first met her when she was just 15 years old. I remember being impressed by her spiritual maturity and her intelligence. She had such an insight into spiritual/biblical matters, and had much scripture memorized.

In high school, she took college courses from the local college, so that when she started college she was already almost finished with her freshman year. By the way, she was also salutatorian of her high school class. At college, she graduated in three years (it took me 9). She got her degree in accounting.

For the past 5 years she has homeschooled our children, a feat that in itself is worthy of high recognition. In addition to homeschooling the kids full time, and teaching a homeschool co-op class (with other families), she also works part time as a freelance bookkeeper. She is also the manager of our household finances. She keeps the books, pays the bills, and does the taxes. The taxes, by the way, are more difficult that normal because of the fact that we are both self employed.

She is also very diligent in training up our children in the ways of godliness. She refuses to give up, even amid the many trials that we have with our preteen. It flat wears her out and stresses her to no end, even to the point of physical sickness and exhaustion. But she will not give up or give in.

In the in between times, (very small windows) she washes clothes, folds clothes, shops for groceries, washes dishes, prepares meals, cleans house, etc, etc, etc.

And she still makes it a point to have her daily quiet time with God and His Word.

She truly is "Wonder Woman."
